Tanzania

The third country we have researched into is Tanzania. Tanzania is mostly a warm, cool place that rains often, but only when its the rainy season. The major rainy season is from early April to late May, and the short rains are in November. Tanzania was criss-crossed by tribal trade routes linking the Great Lakes (Victoria and Tanganyika) with the coast. These are the same routes along which Arab traders used to move inland, searching for slaves and ivory. The estimated population of Tanzania is roughly around 41,048,532. The ethnic groups of Tanzania are 99% African (of which 95% are Bantu consisting of more than 130 tribes), and 1% other (consisting of Asian, European, and Arab). The main languages are Kiswahili or Swahili (official), English (official, primary language of commerce, administration, and higher education), Arabic (widely spoken in Zanzibar), and many other local languages. If you ever decide to visit Tanzania you should probably bring light, short, breathable clothing and lots of water. One of the coolest things you can find in this country is the wildlife, such as elephants, zebras and many many more. Two of the best times to visit is January to March and June to August. Just to be safe, when going to Tanzania, you should probably get a vaxine for Routine, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Rabies.
